I design both Traditional and Contemporary Hawaiian Quilts. Traditional Hawaiian quilts are made 100% by hand. These quilts are cut from one large piece of fabric and  hand appliqued and hand quilted. Contempory style Hawaiian quilts incorporate more colors and or pieces of fabric. Contemporary Hawaiian quilts can be made by machine fusible applique and machine quilted.  All my hawaiian applique patterns have instructions for both hand and machine applique. All hawaiian applique patterns seen on my site are also available as fabric kits in my online store.
